♡ For when you're feeling... Insecure ♡

God has created you. Your body, mind, soul- everything about you. He knows every single little detail about you, even each and every single hair that is on your head- he knows and he knows because he made that.
Insecurity is a common feeling for this generation, whether it's feeling insecure about yourself or about your relationship with God. Some key verses that I had written down for this topic had really shown me how God is always here for me and that's what I need to remember, whenever you are feeling insecure just know God still has his arms wrapped around you- for it tells us to even cast our cares to him because he is our FATHER. He will always be there, and that surely gave me confidence.

" The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave your nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."- Deuteronomy 31:8

What we sometimes forget:
One thing we seem to forget is how God is always by our side as well as us having Jesus living within our hearts and because we have accepted him into our hearts and repented, we know that he will never leave our sides EVER. This is why he is telling us not to fear or become discouraged because no matter what will come our way, he will still be there. We can confide in the LORD for he is there with his arms wrapped around us. God is our Father and he protects and cares for us.

"Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterwards you take me into glory." - Psalm 73:23-24

God doesn't want us to be hurting or feel insecure instead we need to love ourselves as God created us with HIS own love. This is something we need to remember when we feel down about ourselves. God made you, he wanted you and he made you out of the love he has for you.  Just remember that God loves you because you are his child.

Jesus died for you
Another thing to remember is that God sent his only begotten son to die on the cross for us, Jesus died on the cross for us so we didn't have to face the consequences as God wanted to give us another chance to be able to be reunited with him and have everlasting life with him. This shows how much God loves you and how Jesus DIED FOR YOU. Always remember what he did for YOU and also remember who you belong to as he created you out of his own love.

Finally: I urge you to pray for your insecurity as nothing is possible without God. So please pray and speak to him that he releases you of this insecurity chain wrapped around you and that you feel the confidence and peace that you need.

I pray that this post speaks to those who need it and thank God for giving me the opportunity to preach his word with this message he gave me. Thank you for reading this, feel free to message or leave a comment on any posts you'd like to read! God Bless you all! Hope you have a safe and great day that God has blessed us with!

♡ The parable of the wise man who built his house upon the rock! ♡

In Matthew 7:24-27, Jesus tells the parable of the wise man who built his house upon the rock.

" Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who build his house on the rock."

Jesus is telling us that when we hear the Word or read the Word, we can't just do nothing about it nor can we just ignore it. Jesus has given us his Word, God has provided us with the Word. The Word is OUR ROCK! This is what keeps us grounded and still because it gives us WISDOM and GUIDANCE. Through Jesus we are able to be saved and be given the ULTIMATE reward which is EVERLASTING LIFE!
Here, Jesus is telling us that we need to listen to what he is telling us then act on it, we need to apply it to our lives we can't ignore it then carry on doing what ever we want to do. He tells us to 'Put them into practice' for us to be like the wise man, the wise man who is destined for everlasting life, the same wise man who has listened to Jesus and applied it to himself and his life. This is why we need to be like the wise man, and build our house upon the rock because without God we are nothing, we would just crumble, we would be heading straight down the broad road of destruction.

The Foolish Man who built his house on sand
The man who built his house on the sand is like those who have heard the word and still choose to just ignore it and then just proceed being OF the world and evil. All this is leading to is destruction- each and every single time! Think of what sand is, it runs through our fingers, we can't hold on to it, it's weak so how can we expect to build our lives on that sand? The sand being things of this world- the things of this world are nothing, they can just be taken away from you, they're not guaranteed. Sand can sink, and if that's what our foundation is then all we are doing is heading for destruction, as all we will be doing is sinking deeper and deeper into satan's trap because we are living on the lies of the world and the things of it.

The Rock
Where as with a rock, it is hard, strong, stable and doesn't move when rooted in the ground. This is just like how when we have Jesus in our lives and base our lives on the word and God we are rooted into the ground and we are strong and we won't be moved because God is with us.
"God is within her, she will not fail" - Psalm 46:5
When we have God in our lives, we won't fail or fall because he is right there with us, he has his arms wrapped around us keeping us upright and strong like the rock kept the house up. He has the Holy Spirit wrapped around us and filled within us because Jesus lives in our hearts when we accept him and repent of our sins! It's so simple. If you accept him and repent of your sins, God will provide you with the word which shapes you and your life. He will chip at you to make you be more like Jesus with his charateristics, he will throw away the worldly and sinful glasses you had on before and give you brand new ones that make you see the world and people in a completely different way. Peace will be within you and wrapped around you, we will provide you with all you need so just turn to Jesus and repent! Be like the wise man who built his house upon the rock- because that never did fall down but you know whose did? The man who built it on sand.

Ask yourself: Am I the wise man who built my house on the rock or the foolish man who built it on the sand?

Finally: Therefore we must listen to the Word and ACT on God's Word. Through this we will be strong and stable in the storms of life.

♡ An introduction to me ♡

Helloo to everyone who has stumbled across this post!
I thought I would just introduce this blog I have recently created with about of information about me and why I have started this blog!
So, my name is Rebekah but I prefer to be called Bekah! As I write this I am 19 years old and will be turning 20 in December (woah!). God has gifted me with the skills of being creative, as all my life I have taken a key interest into the more creative side of things- for example, one BIG interest of mine is dancing which is where I'd like my career to be ( of course if it's God's plan for me,) but more recently I have been getting into Bible Journaling and being more creative with the Word.
I have used my creativity to start sharing the Word and Jesus' love through sharing my work and thoughts through my Instagram and Twitter!
All my life I have completely believed in God and have been brought up in a Christian family - which I am so grateful for- but I  found myself being too much OF the world and I was fearing the world and things of the world and not God! I will definitely share my full testimony in an upcoming post!
A massive part of my journey has been with my Boyfriend- Tatenda ( who also has started a blog- www.strengthinchristt.blogspot.com) - as we started from just reading verses of the day and thinking that was enough to being hit with a huge realisation that we seriously needed to change our ways! Since then we have become completely different individuals and our relationship is completely strengthened through Christ as we know he is the main focus of it.
Why I created this Blog?
Another side to me being creative is that I do enjoy writing and sometimes an Instagram post or Tweet is just not enough as when I start talking about Jesus, I just can't seem to stop! I feel like today I have been led to start this blog so I can share God's word and love to everyone rather than just my followers on social media! I just want to do the most I can do to share the word through different ways in life and using my skills from God to do so! I feel that God's word needs to be shared on every different platform that we can, as I know social media is a huge in our generation as well as blogging so I know people will be able to read the word as it's easy for people to come across if they are led too!
What will this Blog be about?
This Blog will be completely dedicated to God, whether it be sharing my journalling, sharing a message he has gave me, or even just writing on topics within the Bible- everything is going to be all about Jesus! I mean he deserves all the glory- right?! Another thing is that this Blog will also be helping my own journey and relationship with God through writing and sharing posts that he may lead me to do or for me to help someone or even myself!

I thank you for reading this and hope that you continue to follow me with reading and sharing God's word! Feel free to message or comment or anything you'd like me to post about as I just want to spread the Word of Christ!
Thank you!

God Bless! Have a joyful day whenever you read this!♡
